A little story…..

A LITTLE STORY….two-and-half years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the beautiful city of Adelaide in South Australia.

Whilst there I explored the very picturesque wine region of McLaren Vale and was introduced to several top producers. At the time I had just left a very well-paid job on the railway to pursue my passion by working at Majestic. Then, I was at the beginning of a journey and I had no idea how it would progress.

One of the vineyards that I was able to visit that day was Oliver’s Taranga. I was absolutely blown away by their wine and hospitality. I really wanted to pack a bag full of them to take home, but sadly the luggage allowance wouldn’t allow it. This just isn’t a wine for me, it’s a reminder for me of the risk I took. It is also a reminder of how lucky I am and of how far I’ve come. It also takes me back to wonderful region that inspired me and affirmed my belief I did the right thing.

Now, two-and-a-half years later, I am delighted and proud to say that I stock Oliver’s Taranga wine in my own wine shop. One of the thrills of my work is being able to share these wines and their stories with our customers. I am delighted to be able to do that with you with the four wines we have on offer from their. They include:- Shiraz (£26.50), Fiano (£21.00), Grenache (£26.50), and the limited edition Sparkling Fiano (£46.00).

Thank you to Richard at Wanderlust Wine for bringing these beauties to the UK and to Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards for their hospitality and amazing wines. Finally, thank you to Steve at Cellar Door Tours for introducing me to this fabulous place that day.

I can’t wait to go back!!!
